The Blog is Back!
/Once upon a time, I wrote a blog every single week for a whole year... plus a little extra, because apparently, I didn’t know when to stop. It was a goal I set, and I actually did it — even on the weeks when I had no idea what I was saying, even when I was basically talking to a wall. Still, I showed up.
And now? That blog is gone. Poof.
If you’re curious, don’t bother Googling it. You won’t find it. You’ll just have to ask someone who read it (if you can find one of the seven people who did).
But I remember it. I remember how hard it was to keep up. I also remember how weirdly proud I was of myself for sticking with it. And most of all, I remember... I actually enjoyed it. Even when it felt a little forced. Even when I wrote in run-ons and rambled like I was trying to win a prize in side-note Olympics.
So here I am again — dusting off the ol’ keyboard. Only this time? No schedule. No pressure. No goal to be the next so-and-so. (Just a check off of the 2025 Vision Board!)
Just blogging... whenever I feel like it.
Because I want to. Not because an algorithm told me to. Not because I’m building a personal brand (I mean, kind of... but let’s not make it weird). And definitely not because I’m trying to be an influencer. (I can barely influence my dog to come back inside when she’s fixated on a squirrel.)
This space is now just a place for all the pieces of me:
A bit Mommy (because I’m in the thick of teenage chaos — pray for me)
A bit marketing and designy (it’s my jam, and I like to help other small biz folks find their thing)
A bit homey (as in: fixing, cleaning, forgetting to fix, forgetting to clean)
And a whole lot of “Don’t do what I did, learn from me” energy
So if you’re here for perfect Pinterest tutorials, 30-day content calendars, or glowy skincare hacks... whew. Wrong turn.
But if you're here for honesty, hacks that may or may not work, design insight, parenting adventures, and some solid “yikes, same” energy — Welcome. You’re in the right spot.
I’m blogging again. Kinda. Sorta. Whenever.
No promises, but I’m glad you’re here.
